Our Story
We discovered early on that the collaborative and supportive nature of our friendship enhanced the work we did with our therapy clients, and we believe that working together as a team enables us to offer our clients a more holistic, supportive, and impactful therapeutic experience.
Our mission is simple: to empower individuals to thrive by providing compassionate, evidence-based care that honors each person's unique journey. We are deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and fostering a welcoming, safe space where your healing and growth can flourish.
At Palmetto Psychology Clinic, our story of friendship is woven into everything we do—because we know that strong connections lead to the strongest outcomes. We are honored to walk alongside our clients as they build resilience, find hope, and embrace new possibilities.
The story of Palmetto Psychology Clinic begins in 2016, when founders Julia, Kayla, and Caroline met as first-year graduate students at the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium (pictured here at a 2016 Stanford football game).
The three of us were roommates living in a cozy apartment inside a complex called Palmetto. The apartment wasn’t just a place where we lived—it was where we shared ideas, supported each other through challenges, and grew together as aspiring mental health professionals.
Living and learning side by side, we found a mutual passion for helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with compassion, empathy, and expert care. Over countless late-night conversations, we envisioned creating a practice with the values of community, collaboration, and personalized care at the center.
